Brief Answer:
Not commonly.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for using Healthcare Magic.
Hyperinflated lungs do not usually cause pain. The usual associated symptoms are coughing, difficulty in breathing and wheeze.
However, if you have been working hard to breathe you may have tired chest wall muscles which are strained and giving you pain.
You could try a bronchodilator inhaler such as salbutamol. This may reduce the work of breathing and and reduce any pain.
I hope this is of help. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
