Can I Skip Xanax For 2 Days Inspite Of Its Non Availability?

Question : I have been taking xxanax for a couple years. I was on two .25 pills a day and have worked down to one .25 a day. I thought I had one refill and am out of town and it turns out I have none. Yesterday was the first day I did not take one. I took none today. I will be home tomorrow and have some at home. I have no symptoms yet but heard you should not quit cold turkey. So I will be going 2 1/2 days without. Will that be ok or should I find a clinic.

Hello,
You can just wait and watch coz:
1. the dosage of 0.25mg xanax which you were taking is very low in itself
2. already you have managed successfully to remain sober without it for 2 1/2day
3. the biggest problem come within few hours and few days of stopping such a drug and you havent faced any till now...meaning that there are very less chance that there would be any major issue in coming days..

So, when you are already in a mind frame to stop it..this is a blessing in desguise..

You will be fine, dont worry and dont take it again just because of apprehensions and because you have them at home....looks like your body dosent need it anymore...
