Brief Answer:
Aspirin prevents from thromboembolism and future heart attacks .

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Welcome to the HCM.
Since aspirin (ecosprin 150mg) inteferes with your blood's clotting action. As this clotting can happen within vessels supplying your heart by formation of plaque (platelattes aggregation) .And aspirin therapy reduces the clumping or aggregation of platelates, possibly preventing a heart attack.
In nutshell aspirin prevents thromboembolism or formation of blood clot on the replaced mechanical valve.Because if a blood clot forms on the valve it can break free, and it could travel to your brain and cause a stroke. So it is prescribed by a doctor to prevent heart attack or stroke after valve replacement.

Hopefully I answered your question ,you may ask further ,if you have more questions to ask.

Brief Answer:
Ecosprin AV 150 can be taken but after lipid test

Detailed Answer:
Hi ,
Since ecosprin 150 mg contains aspirin 150 mg .And ecosprin AV150 mg contains aspirin 150mg and atorvastatin 10mg both.As atorvastatin is used to lower cholestrol level. And it can be used by a hypertensive patient having atherosclerosis (vessel plaque formation condition) or high blood cholestrol level.
You may get lipid profile test done first ,and discuss with your treating doctor ,to change the medicine according to the report.

Hopefully I answered your question. You may ask further ,or close the discussion by rating the answer.
Wish you best of health.

Dr.Maheshwari.
