Can I Take Flexeril And Klonapine Together?

Question : currently taking allegra/nasacort/amoxicillin for sinus&allergies.also take flexeril as needed for back. Take klonapine for withdrawal and anxiety but almost weened off of it. Can i take 5mgflexeril and .5mgklonapine together? Side effects? Thanks for your reponse!

Taking both Flexeril 5mg and Klonapine 0.5 mg can cause excess drowsiness, sedation and sometime disorientation.

It is not advisable to take both at once unless you have a strong indication for both.

Choose amongst flexeril and klonapine based on the severity of the problems you have and avoid taking together.

Thanks I need to switch to only Flexeril was just worried if I take Flexeril and had a withdrawal if I could pop a Klonopin and an emergency. Only if I had symptoms of heart racing and anxiety. I was on Ativan in the hospital and then on Klonopin for 15 days and supposed to wean off. I'm at .5 mg. So just wanted to make sure I was OK to quit taking it and then take the Flexeril. They wanted me to wean off in 10 days but I didn't .

Yes, you can keep it for SOS use. Only in case of severe anxiety you can take a pill of Klonopin even when on Flexeril but not on regular basis.
