Question : Iv been taking mucinex for the past 5 days 1morning 1evening 1200 mg
I was wanting to take NyQuil to help my caugh help me sleep its been 3hrs since I took mucinex
NyQuil is liquicaps

Mucinex contains guaifenesin, and Nyquil contains acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, doxylamine, and pseudoephedrine.

It is fine you can take Nyquil. But what are your symptoms. I would suggest you to take steam inhalation.

Do you have expectoration or only just dry couch, do you have any other symptom like, headache, nasal congestion?
