Brief Answer:
Gratin + Kadian= Not good

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking!
Gratin Li is an antipsychotic containing Lithium and Kadian is a morphine, an opioid. Now if you mean by their equation , their use together so i would say no, a big no to that.. Their use together is no good and not advised and prohibited. Here is the reason why.
lithium and morphine both increase serotonin levels which increases Potential for interaction and potentiation of adverse effects. Needs to monitor closely and better to avoid it..
And if you mean french cuisine Gratin and its use while having kadian then i would still say better be safe, the cheese and all ingredients in it once again leads to increased serotonin and that is not wanted and not safe.
I would say seek your pain management specialist and your dietitian and let them devise the plan best for you.
Let me know if you meant some thing else by the word Gratin, as it is a drug, a rice, a french cuisine and God knows what else.
I hope it helps.Don't forget to close the discussion please.
