Can I Take Leveritacetam Inspite Of Having High BP?
Question: I have a further question to ask. This morning i sent the following and dr XXXXXXX ansswered it re side effects of leveritacetam. Dr XXXXXXX advised to onlu tak one a day not two. I am happy with this but I feel so bad today that I now wonder if taking two a day for a week can have caused any damage - especially as I take high blood pressure tablets Amlopodine and Avorstatin and google says you should not take leveritacetam with high blood pressure. Can a week of taking 2 a day have caused any lasting damage to me?
Brief Answer:
That depends upon symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for showing your trust on me.
Usually drugs induced damage or side effects stay only for few days, but in some cases, brain or cardiac related side effects last for longer period. You have taken 500 mg of leveritacetam for a week only and if you are not getting any major breathing problem or any walking problem, then, side effects would resolve in few days. In case, you have any doubt, you can get investigations done like ECHO or MRI brain. Just relax and take only one tablet a day. You would be fine in few days.
If you have more query, you can ask.
