Brief Answer: High dose of Levonorgestrel advised for emergency. Detailed Answer: Hi, Usually, Triqular 21 tabs is not used as emergency contraception. It contains 0.03 mg ethinylestradiol and 0.05 mg levonorgestrel (low dosage). Instead, you can use pills containing levonorgestrel (1.5) for emergency contraception. Hope it was of help!
