Brief Answer:
About levothyroxine interference;
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for asking!
Levothyroxine does not interfere neither with Vit D, nor with Vit B12.
As you know levothyroxine is taken fasting and after 1 hour you may eat breakfast, meanwhile ViT D 3 is taken after the most fatty food of the day.
So, you have only to respect the way is recommended to take the medicines.
Hope the information will help.

thank you, do you know how long it usually takes to take effect and should i notice a difference soon? I have nerve pain and sensitive feet due to this , should this improve once the thyroid stabilizes? Also do you think there could be a link between this and my vulvodynia nerve pain, just a thought?

This weekend the nerve pain in my feet has been quite bad , I was told by the GP that the burning, stabbing and tingling in my feet and hands was a symptom on hypothyroidism . These were the symptoms I went to see the GP about before I had the blood test and was diagnosed. I have since read that it is a very uncommon symptom and should this disappear once my hormones levels have balanced?

Brief Answer:
About thyroid symptoms;
Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
Yes, within 4-6 weeks the symptoms should disappear! The TSH is slightly elevated and in most of the cases it is asymptomatic, anyway you can wait 1 month to see the result.
Best wishes,

Great thank you. Can you confirm that the pain in my feet can be caused by this, as it does not look like a common symptom. But it seems to be my only symptom as I have no tiredness, hair loss or weight gain just the electric shock, burning and tingling in my feet.
Thank you

About hypothyroidism treatment:
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
The probability that hypothyroidism may be manifested only with numbness is very low, but you can never say never.
The only way to approve/rule it out is treating hypothyroidism and waiting for the results as suggested above.
Regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
