Brief Answer:
betadine should be avoided

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.
I have read your query.
I understand your concern.
You have correctly mentioned the most common causes of pain corona.
It is most likely due to trauma or infection.
I would advise you to put an antibiotic cream like mupirocin 2 percent over the affected area.
Betadine when applied on skin especially the sensitive areas like genitalia results in Irritant contact dermatitis .
So rather than putting betadine you may apply mupirocin.
I would advise you to visit your doctor so that he can do clinical examination of the area and advise you accordingly.
I hope it helps.
Stay healthy.
