Brief Answer:
moisturiser cream rather than oil

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Welcome to healthcaremagic. I
have read your query and understood your concern.

Your dermatologist has correctly prescribed you the medications which you can start using for good skin.
If your skin is excessively dry, you may use any good moisturiser containing vit E and aloe vera after washing face. Else if you wanna use oil, you may use vit e oil. But I usually dont advice my patients to put oily preparations on face to avoid pimple formation and stickiness.
Take plenty of water and green leafy vegetables along with fresh fruits in diet
I hope it helps. If you have any further query you may ask me.
Stay healthy.

Thank you Doctor,
My skin never used to darken to this extent earlier , but after pregnancy it seems to have worsened. I have been prescribed thyronorm for thyroid.please do advice me on a good cleanser and toner and vit e cream please.my skin still seems to be pretty dark , how long does the cream take to work.
Please do suggest any good skin routine to be followed on a regular basis.

Brief Answer:
detail follows

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Welcome again.

You may use venusia lotion (dr XXXXXXX product) which is a combination of vit E and aloe vera. It is for dry skin.
It may take 2-3 months for improvement of skin and tone.
Usually i do not advice skin toner to my patients.

Wash the face twice daily with face wash and water.

Take a good and healthy diet.
Alongwith start using the medications as already advised by your dermatologist.
Sty healthy.

Thank you Doctor,
Earlier my skin used be a little on the oiler side ,but now it has become completely dry and gets darker with lack of moisture .please do suggest a good face wash because I used biotique and my face dried up and started burning and then I started using olive oil at night and washed it off with soap , what little oil was left made it better.i have finally settled for rexona soap after using a lot of different ones.thanks doctor :-)

continue rexpna soap and put venusia lotion

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Welcome again.

You may continue using rexona soap if you find it suitable. For dry skin, apply venusia lotion 2-3 times per day preferably on semi wet skin.
