Can I Use Music Hearing Protection To Protect Ears From Heavy Winds?

Question : Hello :) i have professional music hearing protection; custom fit to my ear. I use them for everything where too much noise is; music, concert, work place and much more. I always use -25dB filters. My question is this: I live in the Faroe islands which is a windy country; we have alot of storms : and hard winds. i feel that wind is very uncomfortable for my ears; but can my hearing protection also help protect my ears in hard wind, so I dont damage them?
