yOU WERE In your safe period and hence unlikely to get pregnant. However, to be sure you may undertake a serum beta hcg test after 7 days post intercourse to rule out pregnancy conclusively.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
in that case chances of pregnancy would have been still higher, even though the life of ovum after reaching ampullary region of fallopian tube is 24 hrs , so if an already present sperm in the tract, then fertilisation is a possibility. However the exact timing of ovulation needs to be confirmed before making a comment. Ideally fertile period in a 28-30 ays cycle is day 12-day 22 , for all practical purposes.
