Question : I have a kidney stone of size 14*12mm in the Right side kidney. Doctor told me to go for surgery.
Will it be able to dissolve by taking medicine only ?
If I got for surgery will their be any problem in future ?

Brief Answer:
Lithotripsy can be tried
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
The stones less than 15mm can be removed without surgery using Lithotripsy. Its a simple procedure where shock wave is focused onto the stone. It is done in select centre.
There wont be any problem if you undergo surgery, however surgical related complications will always be there based on which surgery is selected for you.
I recommend Lithotripsy trial for you, if that doesnt work then you can undergo surgery
Regards
