Brief Answer:
Cholangio Carcinoma?

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I do not have the full details about the problem here. I understand your mother has jaundice which is due to gall bladder cancer or bile duct cancer. if the duct is blocked the possibility of stunting has to be explored. Initially, the best treatment is surgical resection if possible to be followed by radiation therapy and chemotherapy.

If surgery is ruled out, only then salvage chemotherapy can be tried. As the disease progresses, jaundice is likely to increase. The possibility of cure depends on the stage of the disease.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
Chlangoi carcinoma

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

It appears she has obstructive jaundice and stunting could relieve it. This should be followed by TACE chemotherapy. These are temporary measures and will work for some time but complete cure is unlikely. Some centers even image guided radiotherapy can be tried to shrink the tumor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
