Brief Answer: Following answers to your queries... Detailed Answer: Hi my dear, Oil pulling is one of the practices that I commonly advise to my patients to be healthy. I do recommend my patients to oil pull early in the morning for better results. There is no reason that oil pulling could cause vertigo. You are reporting to have high blood pressure too. Please bare in mind that oscillations in blood pressure (especially when spike) would cause vertigo or other symptoms. I highly advise to : - monitor your blood pressure - take the medications accordingly - follow a strict diet with less salt or fatty foods With regards to using Sesame Oil, that is a good choice for oil pulling. I commonly recommend pure olive oil to my patients. However, coconut oil and sesame oil are also great alternatives. In case your blood pressure is well-controlled, and you are feeling vertigo when using Sesame oil, I advise to change oil (shift to olive oil) and see if your symptoms will improve. Hope it was of help! Let me know if you have further queries! Dr.Albana
