Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I have gone through your query and i have also reviewed the attachments
A beautician is not the right person to consult Or prescribe.
I suggest you to use nadibact for day time application. You may use Deriva-CMS gel for night application. In case you have inflammatory acne I would also suggest capsule doxycycline 100mg twice daily for 2 weeks.

How about demelan? Can that be used for marks

Answered by Dr. Dr. Kakkar (1 hour later)
Brief Answer:
Demelan may cause irritation if used simultaneously

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

You may use demelan cream once your acne is under good control, with oral and topical medicines that i have suggested. I dont think nadibact alone would be effective for acne therefore i suggested oral doxycycline and topical deriva cms gel in addition to nadibact. Using demelan simultaneouly with other topical medicines may cause irritation. By the way deriva cms gel contains adapalene 0.1% which itself might be sufficient in reducing acne marks.

Is kojic acid cream different from demelan
doctor
Answered by Dr. Dr. Kakkar (7 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Demelan has glycolic acid and arbutin in addition to kojic acid in kojic cr

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Yes, demelan contains glycolic acid (10%) in addition to arbutin (5%) and kojic acid (2%) whereas kojic cream contains only kojic acid (2%). These creams are commonly used for the same purpose i.e to reduce post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation resulting from acne. Demelan can cause some irritation to skin i.e redness and dryness, however, kojic acid is well tolerated on sensitive skin.
