Yes there are numerous diseases which can be caused by kissing the partner. They can be STD or non STD such as HSV 1/2, chlamydia, gonorrhea, infectious mononucleosis, certain other bacterial and viral diseases. You must avoid kissing a stranger and practice monogamy. It you accidentally happen to kiss a stranger then washing your mouth with chlorhexidine wash is recommended. Watch for any oral lesion and consult a physician if required.
