Brief Answer:
some can restart immediately

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are some persons who can resume activity immediately but others may require a rest period for 4 to 24 hours.

The delay is usually more needed in persons whose knees have been injected with medication rather than aspiration (removal of fluid).

If there is no pain and you are able to move the knee with restriction then you can restart your activity

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
