Brief Answer:
Viagra is preferably stopped a week before surgery but 5 days is acceptable

Detailed Answer:
Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. There might be a small risk of anesthesia complications after taking sildenafil (Viagra). Medical research shows that sildenafil use should be avoided at least one week before surgical operations to reduce such a risk.

2. Since there is a 5 day interval between consumption of Viagra and your surgery, most likely you are safe.

3. However please discuss this with your doctor in detail before the surgery.

Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
