Brief Answer:
BEST TO WAIT FOR 3 MONTHS AFTER STOPPING DRUGS

Detailed Answer:
These medications can affect the sperm potential.
It is best to avoid conception for 3 months after you stop the drug.
Once you finish the recommended course of medications, it is best to wait for another 3 months and then start trying for a child.

Brief Answer:
DISEASE IS UNPREDICTABLE WITH UPS AND DOWNS

Detailed Answer:
Rheumatoid arthritis, as you already said, is a long term disease.
Only rarely it is completely curable.
Most of the times it has periods of ups and downs , remissions and flare - ups.
Once you complete the medications and the current acute bout is managed, then you can plan for a child.
Regarding the long term prognosis of your disease, only the Rheumatologist can manage and opine regarding it.
Take care.
