Question : I take amlodipine every morning. Can I eat a grapefruit-orange hybrid later in the day?

Regarding your concern, I would explain that big amounts of grapefruit juice can interact with amlodipine, by increasing its circulating levels and thus its effects.
But, if you take a drink a small amount (a cup) of grapefruit juice and not at the same time (later during the day), there is nothing to worry about!
