Brief Answer:
Has the leg been evaluated?

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

The most important thing to do at this time is investigating and establishing the cause of this pain for accurate management. Unless the pain is well managed, she would not be able to overcome this fear and even return to walking.

There are a few things that could cause this. poor blood supply and medications could be responsible. Talk to her doctor so that these can be reviewed and addressed accordingly.

I hope this guides and helps. I wish her well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
