Can Pasta Sea Urchin Lead To Granulomas?

Question: I have what I think are granulomas. One started growing on my check rahter large (hard cluster) and now I have more on bridge of nose(small ones) and jawline as well on my other cheek. My eye area is swollen now. The only thing different in my diet I went to eat out and had pasta sea urchin do you think it is from poison sea urchin?. Then after took some Tumeric for the inflammation. What could it be?

Hi,

Well, sea urchin may cause allergic reactions but it would not manifest with granulomas.

So I don't think this is causing it. It is more likely to be granuloma faciale or impetigo so you should see dermatologist.

I suggest to start Amoxicillin 2x1g and apply antibiotic ointment till that.
