Brief Answer:
Surgical treatment can reduce the size but is associated with complications

Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Size of penis depends upon normal anatomical structure, genetics of individual and a number of other factors. In normal cases it cant be reduced.

Surgical treatment in which part of penis can be removed and then head can be reattached is possible but that too would result in a lot of complications especially related to urinary tract. Stricture in urethra, blockage of urinary stream etc are common complications. So I would not advise you to go for surgical methods.

Medicinal treatment can be possible especially hormonal treatment. This treatment in given to patients of gender reassignment surgery but that too requires long term therapy and is also associated with complications.

So try to reassure yourself and don't go for surgical treatment.

Thanks, This is my opinion based upon my experience. Please don't hesitate to ask again for more doubts. Consult a psychiatrist before going for that treatment.

Take care.

Thank you very much for your reply . since asking this question i have found a surgeon who is willing to give me surgery . He has pointed out the risks . I have an obsession about my penis size and nearly had a full penectomy a year ago . I'm 99 % sure that i want little or no penis
Very hard to explain why and have been to scared to consult with a psychiatrist incase he thinks i'm mad and locks me up .
you are the first i''ve ever spoken to
Just wanted to thank you

Detailed Answer:
Hello again

Thanks for your appreciation. It's your choice that you wanted to get penis removed and no one can blame you for any mental illness for that. So don't ever hesitate to discuss your problems with a doctor. Consult a psychiatrist before visiting a surgeon. Try to become aware of cons and pros of surgery.

Thanks
