Question : Starting in November I started to get what I'm sure is petechiae in my mouth. It started with a single spot on the roof of my mouth, disappeared had another single spot in December. Then after a dental exam had multiple spots on roof of mouth.

Got it again in January after giving oral sex to my wife. Had it on roof of mouth, inside cheek and under tounge. Had a couple of my mild episodes where I had one spot again. And a couple of other times I have bitten my cheek eating and gotten them. They always go away in a few days. Then this morning I woke up with multiple spots under my tounge and on roof of mouth and inside cheek again. I did give oral sex to my wife last night for about 20 minutes. I have been to my dr 4 times for this, the last time on march 6 he ran a CBC liver panel and sed rate test all came back normal platelets were 160 which is where they have been for five years. I do have OCD and anxiety and am on lexapro for it and seeing a therapist.

I don't seem to have them anywhere else I thought I did on my lower leg but I sent pics to two dermatologists on this site that said they were no petechiae because the skin was broken and they were abrasions. I have very dry skin on my legs and arms. I have no other symptoms energy is great workout five days a week, etc. This has been going on for 7 months hasn't gotten worse but it is bad every time I give oral to my wife or bit my cheek. I have attached two pics. What might be causing this? Is it just due to trauma?

Brief Answer:
Petechiae induced by trauma, no other factor seems responsible

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

I have gone through your complaints and reviewed the attached photographs.
These lesions are petechiae and are caused by trauma.
Since your blood tests are normal there is no organic cause for the occurence of these lesions.
I don't think you need to worry about these.

I didn't submit any new pictures or ask that question two hours ago. That's odd I have no idea how that question got posted under my name as I did not ask it two hours ago.
