Brief Answer:
Drugs may cause seizures.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Removing tonsils surgically doesn't cause seizures.

About medicine, it depends which one is the drug, there are drugs thought to cause or lower seizures threshold as side effect and the list of these drugs is too long.

To conclude, there is no relation between removed tonsils and seizures, there are several drugs that may result in seizures.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.

My son went to have his tonsils removed when he was 4yrs old he is now 5. Before he went in for the surgery he wasn't having seizures. About 6weeks after the procedure he began having seizures. So I'm trying to see if it can be a link between the different drugs they gave him the day of the surgery. A nurse gave him medicine in a surenge by mouth and then they put him to sleep with medicine so I want to have those medicines tested by an investigater
