Question: Can severe memory loss come from prescription drug medication withdrawals from 125 mg. Fentanyl patches, trazadone, ellavil, fioricet, oxycodone, temazapam, Neurontin (neurontin = gabapentin), valium (valium replaced Ativan) & Phenergan. Trazadone & tramadol I just quit taking & am experiencing "typical withdrawal symptoms for me"

Currently not taking ANY medications & am in extreme pain

I have gone through your query. Yes, you may experience Amnesia(Memory loss) and confusion as a result of withdrawal symptoms of all the drugs you have mention. Fentanyl patches, trazadone, ellavil, fioricet, oxycodone, temazapam, Neurontin, valium and phenergan all shows withdrawal symptoms ranging from mild to moderate.

You should not stop these suddenly. Consult your treating doctor before taking any steps. Due to withdrawal symptoms, dose of these medicines is gradually reduced and then finally stopped over a period of month to half year.
