Question : I have severe pain in my left shoulder blade it radiates up into the base of my skull and is now in my shoulder in the muscle of my upper arm and also around under my arm it causes headaches and very limited movement without pain

Hello,

Symptoms you describe in most of the cases point towards pinched nerve/s in your neck.

Conditions that may cause such symptoms include cervical spondylosis, herniated disc disease, arthritis of the spine, spondylolisthesis (slipped vertebrae), etc.

Getting evaluated by a spine Specialist or Neurologist and by imaging studies such as X-rays and MRI of your cervical spine is necessary to achieve a correct diagnosis.

Treatment depends on the diagnosis and includes avoiding physical efforts, warm procedures on the neck, antineuralgic drugs use, physical therapy and in some cases surgery.
