Question : Is there any stem cell or other procedures available to regrow cartilage in the joints of my husband's feet. It was recommended that he fuse both of his feet. He is uncomfortable with that procedure and would like to know if you have any other suggestions

Yes, there are many cartilage reconstruction procedures including stem cell procedures.

They are done by arthroscopic or open surgery technique called OATS and ACI.

If the damage to the joints is too severe then joint replacement is an alternative to fusion.
