Question : I am supposed to use sterile water on the dressing of my wound, but by the time I got to the pharmacy and found out I need a prescription for it the Dr I went to was closed. Is there any thing else I can use until Monday when I can get a prescription

Brief Answer:
Ask for saline or any solution used in washing eyes/nostrils!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Normal saline is a good option. This needs no prescriptions and commonly sold over the counter. We have these in small plastics of 10ml. If this is impossible, boil water, add a pinch of salt in int and use for wound cleansing until when you can officially buy some.

Let me know if this is clear enough for you. I wish you well and keep me posted.
