Question : can the stomach flu cause a swollen lyphm node under the chin?
Brief Answer:
Could be Oral infections.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome.
Thanks for sharing your concern.
In answer to your query I would say that swollen lymph nodes under your chin shows infection in your mouth, probably tongue, teeth and neck infections.
The reason being that the lymphatic vessels in these areas drain into the chin gland(submental gland)and sub mandibular glands on their respective sides.
Please explain what do you mean by stomach flu. Mention the symptoms. It rarely causes lymph node under chin.
Awaiting your response.
Thanks.
Take care.
