Question : This is about my girl friend. I am highly tensed and worried. She missed her periods by 15 days now and we did urine test.Both came negative so its confirming she is not pregnant.But I am gettting tensed that she might be pregnant. Please suggest what needs to be done doctor. She is still not getting periods and what might be the other cause or is she really pregnant or is the urine test is not showing accurately. Please answer on how to come out of this issue and also how can she get her periods back to normal.

Thanks for the query to hcm,
As her urine pregnancy test is negative after 15 days ;pst missed period, then for sure she is not pregnant all and the delay is likely to be stress induced hormonal imbalances.
This as of now can be treated with opting for a withdrawal bleed with progesterones. She may take TA PRIMOLUT-N 5mg twice a day for next 5 days and then she can expect her withdrawal bleed within next 5-7 days from the day of the last dose. This yo may discuss with your physician and can get it prescribed after complete evaluation of her hormonal profile and an ultrasound pelvis to rule out any other causes of delay like PCOS, hypothyroidism or Hyperprolactinemia.
