Furocyst does not regularize periods

Hi Mam,

I understand your concern.

FUROCYST helps to;

Increase insulin sensitizing activity & peripheral utilization of insulin thus correcting increased androgen hormones which are responsible for PCOS.

Bring down the Hypercholesterolemia.

It does not regularize the menstrual pattern.For this you need OC pills under expert medical supervision.

Metformin plus DepoProvera will help to regularize periods.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam.

I am sorry for the delayed response.

Tab Depoprovera 5 mg one tab daily for 10 days every one to months.

This type of progesterone therapy regulates your periods and offers protection against future risk of cancers, but it doesn't improve androgen levels and it won't prevent pregnancy.

Additionally You need to take Metformin 500 mg one tab daily.
This drug improves insulin resistance and lowers insulin levels.
It also helps with ovulation and lead to regular menstrual cycles.
Metformin also slows the progression to type 2 diabetes if you already have prediabetes and aids in weight loss if you also follow a diet and an exercise program.

Please note these drugs have to be taken under medical supervision.
