Question : I have excessive dry mouth at night. Also I have a histamine breakout now. Can the histamine breakout cause dry mouth.

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that generally histamine release results in increased secretions . But cannot be said exactly . Other two possibilities considering your age would be sjogrens syndrome and in case you are suffering from diabetes that can also lead to dryness of mouth . Do you have associated dryness of eyes also ? Take care. Dr. Shruti
