Question : Hello: I recently had taken a drug test and after a lab reviewed the results there was 153 nanogram reading of opiate / codeine in my system. I have not taken any cough syrup or pain meds to speak of in the last 12 months or more. However unfortunately i did eat a XXXXXXX seed bagel about 3 hours before the test unfortunately. From my research, it appears that the XXXXXXX seed bagel can trigger a false positive in a drug test for opiates. Please help thanks

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
XXXXXXX seeds don't contain morphine or codeine, but is possible to be contaminated during harvest.

It is known and possible that eating XXXXXXX seed bagel 48 hours prior to drug test that the test may result positive for opiates.
