Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear of all these disturbing symptoms and pains that you have reported and all the inconveniences this has caused you. No one gets such a report and pretends not to be concerned and for sure it is the right attitude to show interest and get to the very fine details of what is going on.

At your age, cervical cancer is very unlikely. Also, it takes several years for abnormal cells to transform into full blown cancer cells and cause big damage. If you have been doing regular pap smears before, then this is a recent development and can only represent the very beginning of possible cervical changes that if unchecked can progress to cancer.

Have you had an HPV serology done? This is very helpful in investigating abnormal cells as this is the primary and most common cause of cervical cell changes. Have you also had a colposcopy? What was the reason for a colonosocopy?

In all, more information is needed to clarify this. What is certain is that this is unlikely to be full blown cervical cancer at your age.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarification if need be.

Brief Answer:
I think so too!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up precision.

It is too early for any abnormal lesions to be able to cause pain. The procedure is the most probable cause at this point.

The next thing to do is to follow up with the treating doctor and make sure these abnormal findings are followed up over time or managed immediately if need be.

I wish you well.
