Question : I TAKE HYDRALAZINE AND DIOVAN FOR HYPERTENSION. CAN I TAKE A 3 DAY DOSE OF PRENIOSONE WITH IT ?

Hello,

Diovan is a brand name of the drug “valsartan”.
Diovan and hydralazine are commonly prescribed drugs for hypertension.
You can take steroids like prednisone along with these anti hypertensives with out any fear. They don’t interact each other and doesn’t alter the efficacy each other.
You can add antacids like pantoprazole or omeprazole to avoid gastritis especially when you are on multiple tablets to avoid gastritis related symptoms.
