Can Thrush Cause A White Coating On The Tongue?
PMH: Asthma, allergies, normal diet, 1-5drinks/week, 2 liters water daily
Meds: Montelukast(1yr), Flonase(1yr), Allergy shots(few months)
I've dealt with a white tongue for as long as I can remember. 2 doctors said I'm normal, but everyone I know has a pink tongue. I tried Nystatin swish/swallow, but that didn't help, and made it worse, I feel. Sugar and alcohol seem to exacerbate the whiteness.
I took Advair as a child, and no one ever told me to rinse my mouth, so maybe this has just been long term thrush?
