Brief Answer:
Menopause, thyroid abnormalities or nutrient def

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Taking your symptoms and age into consideration, the two most likely causes that come to mind are:

-Menopause or pre-menopause or peri-menopause
-Thyroid abnormalities (which you were right about suspecting)

A visit to your doctor and a simple blood test to check on you thyroid profile and female sex hormones shall more than suffice to find the cause for your presentation. In my opinion, either of the above mentioned causes is not difficult to tackle. Just make sure you continue to eat well, and have initiated a multi-vitamin supplement into your daily schedule to make sure no vitamin deficiencies are responsible for such a presentation.

I hope you find my response helpful ma'am. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best wishes.
