Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
Turmeric is known for its blood thining properties. Anticoagulants and anti-platelet drugs such as warfarin and aspirin etc. interact with turmeric. Since these medications slow blood clotting and turmeric does the same, taking these medications with turmeric can cause bleeding and bruising.
But this effect is usually seem if high quantities of turmeric are consumed.
In routine cooking we use just a very slight amount of turmeric that amount is not going to cause any problem.
