Can Vitamin Supplements Be Taken While On Armour Thyroid?

Question : Do you have to wait a certain amount of time to take vitamins after taking Armour thyroid, with Synthroid I was told to wait 4 hrs. Is there any vitamin that you should not take when taking Armour? Thank you

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

There is really no wait with supplements except they contain soybean flour, cotton seed meal, walnuts, dietary fiber, calcium, and calcium fortified juices. These foods should be avoided within several hours of dosing if possible. To be on the safe side, take this drug on an empty stomach and only eat any other thing at least two hours later to be free of every possible concern.
