Can We Have Sex And Then Insert Clingen Tablet Into Vagina Before Retiring To Bed?

Question: Hi I have been advised to use Clingen tabs for bacterial vaginosis. Can we have sex and then insert Clingen tablet into Vagina before retiring to bed? Does it kills sperm? We are planning for a baby or do we need stop having intercourse untill i finish using Clingen tablets.Please help.

I understand your concern about effect of clingen pessary on Sperms.

Yes. Clingen is spermicidal. Meaning it is going to kill sperms and cannot be inserted if you are trying for pregnancy.
You can finish the course of clingen pessaries this month as per prescription by your Gynecologist and try for pregnancy after completion of medicine.

The table name is clindamycin and clotrimazole vaginal suppository. How long it will be used. Please check the reports as well thank u. Will the above tablet kill sperms.
