Question : Im 29yrs old female. 169cm tall and 105kg weight. Total cholestrol is 201. My TMT says borderline positive at exteme stress and back to normal in 1 min. Does it mean that im going to get a heart attack? TSH is 8.1, haemoglobin is 11.
If i reduce my weight will my heart come back to normal? Can i proceed for my 2nd pregnancy? Can i exercise severely? Because there were slight variations during exterme stress while doing TMT.

Brief Answer:
High probability that stress test is false positive. stress thallium recom

Detailed Answer:
Hello ,
I am Dr. Mody and I would be addressing your concern .
The risk factors you have is being overweight. The cholesterol is just borderline .
Considering your clinical profile , age and that the Tmt was just borderline positive in the last stage , there is Good chance that it was false positive (
Test being positive in spite of having normal heart arteries ) .
However as you are planning a pregnancy and want to pursue strict exercise protect.
I would recommend you ruling out the slightest possibility of heart disease . If you are in big city , consider doing a stress thallium and if negative this test can be neglected . If that facility is not available a stress echocardiography would be another option .
Hoping I could help .
