HI,

Thrush is not a sexually transmitted infection. You would not get oral thrush by simply having oral sex. This is mainly a disease in weakened persons as otherwise healthy persons are competent enough not to suffer from oral thrush. The causative agent for oral thrush is present everywhere but this would not cause an infection unless your are very sick or have a weakened immune system by conditions such as HIV/AIDS, cancer treatment, radiation therapy, chronic use of steroids, poor nutrition, etc.

In all, thrush would not be caused by oral sex.
