Question : I have mild swelling under my right rib, i also have a sharp pain when i breathe in deeply. Can you explain why this may be?

Dear sir,
it could be due to lot of reasons ,it could be a musculoskeletal pain , or pain due to any gall bladder disease or any abdominal issue, please get your ultrasonography done to rule out gall bladder or abdominal problems,in case its a musculoskeletal pain which is most likely ,give hot fomentation,take anti inflammatory medicines,apply diclofenac gel,if not relieved than get your ultrasonography done.
