Question : Mild diarrhea and cramping for four days, starting Sunday after two rich meals (I can have a sensitive stomach). No other symptoms, want to make sure I don't need to worry that it's related to Covid. I do understand GI issues can be a symptom.
Brief Answer:
This is not COVID related!
Detailed Answer:
HI and thanks so much for this query.
For sure your symptoms are not COVID related. While some mild GI symptoms could be associated with covid, they rarely show up without typical covid symptoms. Continue respecting measures of social distancing, regular mask use, frequent hand washing and avoid touching the face as much as possible.
I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me as you please.

Thanks for your reply, that gives me peace of mind. One quick follow up question - can it Typically take several days to achieve solid vowel movements after an intestinal upset? I feel fine otherwise but am still contending with loose stools two or three times a day. I am already taking a probiotic. Any specific foods I should eat or avoid? Thanks!
Brief Answer:
No need for specific food types!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this follow up.
There is really no need for specialized foods at this time. The consistency of stools and frequency would improve over the coming days. There is nothing specific required from your end.
