Question : Hi, I have following symptoms from last 3-4 days
1.throat pain 2.Throat itching 3.no fever/head ache. 4.No running nose. started azithromycin today 500 mg. can you please confirm the dosage or any other medicine for throat pain/itching?

Hello,
I read your query and here is my advice.
Throat pain and itching may have been caused from common cold and there is no need for antibiotics at all.
I wouldn't have prescribed azithromycin just for throat itching and pain but once started you better continue the azithromycin treatment.
You can continue azithromycin 500mg for three days ,one tablet daily.
