Question : On an abdominal CT scan that I had in May, the impressions listed "nonspecific small lucent lesions in the posterior right iliac bone measuring up to 5 mm." Back around October-December, I had (and am currently having) pain in that area and saw a PCP about it. She sent me to physical therapy where the PT said that she thought the pain was a result of my hips being out of alignment or something to that effect. I guess my question is could these small lesions be causing pain in that area? Could these lesions be concerning? I also have a small 6 mm osteochondroma on my chest which I already knew about.

Brief Answer:
Can be small harmless cyst .

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.

A small lucent lesion in the bone is most likely a small benign cyst which is usually harmless . Such a small cyst is not likely to be related to the pain that you have . The pain can happen due to a poor posture or a muscle spasm . This is also not related to osteochondroma that you have .

I hope this answers your query.
