Question : Hi, I recently had some bloods done some came back above or below normal range. My GP hasnt suggested anything further but i%E2%80%99m concerned about what it could mean

the bloods out of range were
serum sex hormone binding globulin 17 nmol/L
free androgen index 8.8%
serum alanine aminotransferase 64iu/L
serum calcium level 2.61 mmol/L
serum albumin level 52g/L
I dont know what these mean, but would like to understand possible causes for this
I originally went to see GP for severe pelvic pain happening sporadically but a few times a week, irregular bleeding (no period for previous 4 years), have mirena coil. Also general lethargy, tiredness, waking up tired even when sleeping longer/shorter time, feeling generally unwell like flu with achomg body but do not have flu.

                                    Brief Answer:
It can be polycystic ovaries syndrome.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think you should get further evaluated.
You seem to be having low Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) and increased androgen levels while testosterone is on the upper limit of the normal range.
Calcium and albumin levels are normal.
I think you may need to do an abdominal ultrasound to check for polycystic ovaries syndrome and also can test thyroid function.
You have not mentioned your weight but I think you may be overweight. I also can recommend you to check glucose levels.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further

                                    Brief Answer:
Other tests needed to check liver function.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
PCOS can cause pelvic pain, delay or absent period, irregular bleeding, spotting, etc.
The test you upload can evaluate liver function.
You may need to do liver enzymes and bilirubin levels to estimate liver function.

Does PCOS cause pelvic pain? I have a lot of pelvic pain and now bleeding every other day. The bleeding started in the last month, for example starts one day then stops next then comes back a couple of days later.
Would you suggest anything wrong with my liver from the blood results?
Many thanks

Normal test results.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
Of course you can get PCOS in your 30s .
I see the results of the tests you attached and TSH, FSH,LH,and estradiol are normal.
Estradiol is a bit elevated but not much important.
The bilirubin,, protein and ALT are all normal.
